Been doing some bike hunting for a friend, and came across this:

Anyone know where I can get a similar adapter for running full cable outer on my gear lines on my Commencal meta? I'm fed-up with them filling up with water and the cables rusting inside.

You'd be hard-pushed to get a drill that close.

Round needle file and about 10 mins... ๐Ÿ™‚

Or a few zip ties and stop worrying about it ๐Ÿ˜›

I use a bunch of these shoe-gooed to my frame;

The problem with drilling your frame or anything along those lines is that it never holds the cable firmly as the hole will undoubtedly be bit too big, so the cable flaps around (unless you put zipties round the tubing).

Thanks everyone.

I had already thought of that, bit reluctant to mod the frame though, don't want to risk damaging it, or reducing it's value further.

Or a few zip ties and stop worrying about it

But it looks so messy!

Thanks! Those are spot on what I was thinking.

Not as elegant as the solution above, but look ideal for my plans of getting a dropper, although I'll probably just cable-tie that hose onto one of the others.

Thanks paul, one up on the other similar ones, just because they look better in Black.

Why not run a set of mud snake or flying snake gear cables, or even the sealed gore ones?

Magura do a similar one to the M-Part but is slightly tidier in that it's not adjustable. Okay for disc hoses but not secure/tight enough for gear cables. There may be cheaper places than the link below...

Thread a zip tie througha bit of old camelpack tubing or similar cut to about 2-3mm, round the frame/other hose/fork leg, then back through the bit of hose, arroudn the cable and do it up.

Cost's naff all and lasts forever.

I have been looking at the Gore ones, but they are really quite expensive.
