My Whyte 901 is fitted with an FSA No.57b Orbit ZS tapered headset which really needs new bearings. It currently has caged ball bearings but can I replace then with these?

I dont know this headset specifically, but i doubt very much that cartridge bearings will slot into a headset designed for caged bearings.
I had a tricross that you could remove the caged bearings and some other metal work to let some cartridge bearings fit straight into the frame. Don't know if that will work in your scenario??
The things that’s confusing me is the listing specifys they will fit my headset but I also can’t quite see how they would! Mountain bikes have become so blooming complicated!
Hmmm, it seems I made a schoolboy error and put the lower bearing in upside down so new headset not needed after all!
