I have to prepare a presentation before 11am, and I have tons of other stuff to do but I'm up, and the trails are likely to be frozen so I may head out for a quick loop. Anyone else's tyres hitting the cold hard earth this morning?

Ooooh it's tempting isn't it... I'm not sure I have any legs though. Early lunch is tempting.

Did it yesterday morning.
Plenty of crunchy trails, one of my favourite times to ride.
The bonus was getting home and the bike not needing cleaned!

I've got the whole day free so I'm heading upto Triscombe soon for as many dh runs as my legs will manage.

I was originally going to do an xc ride but I think I'm just using dh as an excuse to use a full face to keep my big ears warm!

Sat at work, looking out at the rather lovely winter weather. Bah.

Early doors ride tomorrow though, hopefully all nice and frosty.

Morning commute was certainly frosty. The diesel fumes always seem so much worse when it's cold ๐Ÿ™

My ride into work today was nice - -1 but because it was so dry there was no ice, which meant I could ride along the canal at my normal pace and if got lighter about 6 miles from work because it was so clear.

Shame my legs were goosed from a fast lap at Glentress last night, but it was still more enjoyable than skittering around on black ice like I was doing last week.

Canal/offroad commute this morning. Garmin said -4.5C.
Beautiful and always love the sound of the tyres crunching through the iced over puddles.

Just done 35 miles. Temperature graph says it never got above freezing.
Lovely.

My morning wasn't quite so crispy as that ^, nice long sub-zero ride none the less. Weather looks to be turning for the weekend *sadface*.

-2 @ Mabie when I went out, beaten to it by a couple of others who were just returning. Dry all the way round, bit of ice in the rut before the boardwalk on Descender Bender. Did a wee bit of drain clearing to stop water running across the trail above Bad Step....

No , but the muddy ground started to tighten this eve in Kent as temps dropped which was a nice respite from the boggy soft drag.

only -5 with a bit of windchill at the top of the hill today. 10-20cm of snow forecast for tomorrow's ride
