In France, I think, he's OK, bike totalled.
Nasty !!
This is getting ridiculous, happens far too often. Perhaps they knew who you were
(I didn't know what to say, so copied the best tweet reply)

Christ, that's a bit OTT to drive on the path to hit him. However, he does have a saddle bag and some people are just anti that sort of thing.
On another note, jeez some of those posters have their tongues sooooo far up his crack I'm surprised he can sit down.

Or he was staring at his stem and rode into a lamp post - now making up excuses for totalling a £10K bike...

edit: ah sh*t, beaten to the skoda joke!
Doesn't look like a Stages crank.........
You just cannot rely on drivers to do anything properly ! An opportunity lost!
Hope Froome is seeing the funny side of being rammed by a car too 🙄
I suspect he may have lost it by the 27th Bradley Wiggins joke.

Never ride without mine. And it's seen worse than Froome too 🙁

on and on, you owe me a coffee and a clean computer screen
I still find it disappointing that this is reported a car driving into Froome, and not a driver driving a car into him.
It takes the human responsibility away from the act of wanton aggression. It is subtle but very effective in distancing the actions from the behaviour of road users and the impact they have.

Have the police ruled out Christine and Kit? If not, they may just be playing it safe. In all seriousness that is some coco loco behaviour on behalf of the driver.
Not me, honest.
