I'm a newbie to this game. I've always had a rear mudguard on my bike but never a front one. As I've just got a new bike I wondered what the consensus was on them. I'm really thinking of protection to the frame from stones etc rather than me getting splashed. Also I've seen on some products that they rattle on about protecting the front suspension any merit in this?

I always run a Crud Catcher, summer or winter - just helps protect the downtube (and me).

In winter I use a Crud Fast Fender too; works a treat - especially in keeping mud/water out of my face/eyes.

Crud catcher & a neoguard for a more subdued look or if you can live with it the SKS shockboard.
