Yeah, sorry it's my bloody road bike again.
Had to change tyres, Ribble doing a good deal on new Conti Attack/Force combo. Turns out the Force (rear) is 24c, rather than 23c, so the distance between my f-mech cable clamp bolt and the tyre is less than 1MM!
Is this common?
Anyway, got to work today, checked it and there is a groove worn into the bolt head. Thank f the tyres are tough enough to wear the bolt head and not vice-versa.
Will have to find a bolt with a smaller head to solve it I suppose.

Erm, what am I asking? Just having a whinge I suppose.
cheers!

That is a tight tolerance! What bike is it to have such short chainstays?

It's some Fausto Coppi thing I got off Ebay a few years ago.
Just employed the get-me-home solution of using a bottle cage bolt as the clamp. So happens had really lo-pro heads ono the bottle cage ones and when I realised they are the same thread ...
