[#2766627]

Im in the process of buying a full sus frame in the aim of swapping over the bits from my Kona.

http://www.moredirt.co.uk/ratebike.php?id=24453

Will this be a (Relatively) simple swap?

Im assuming I will need to get a longer rear hose and new gear cables, is there anything else?

The usual problems are these so check each one.

Seat post diameter

Steerer length of fork

bottom bracket shell width

fork length

integrated non integrated head set

stem length (for bike to fit your stem will fit)

unlikely but...

steerer diameter

mounting for rear brakes

Front mech can be a problem. Top swing / conventional and band size need checking.

Also if you are running disc brakes the front hose may not be long enough if you are going for longer travel forks.
