The frame bearings in my pitch aren't lasting me long, specifically the main pivot and seatstay pivot bearings (though the rest aren't in THAT much better condition).
My last set of bearings were installed 7 weeks ago, however that includes a week in the alps with muddy mornings and lazy pressure washing. They already need replacing, those Katecc ones from ebay, is this similar experience to others that have used these?
The main pivot bearings, would people say they have gone due to loading or contamination? I rag the frame, pretty much use it as a freeride bike, the bike landing sideways is a common occurance, so I imaging the side loads thrash them.
What to most people go for, budget and replace often, premium such as enduro or SKF, stainless to resist corrosion or does anyone rekon there is actually any good to having the extra grease fill?
