Has anyone fitted a Fox X2 to an original Hightower?
My DPS needs yet more money spending on it and the DPX2 that I was planning on upgrading to doesn't seem available anywhere in the size I need.
I like the look of the X2 but concerned it would be overkill for the kind of general trail riding that I do.
Any thoughts are much appreciated.

Personally I’d be looking at a DPX2 or the new Float X. I had a DPX2 on my v1 Hightower and it was great once j-tech tuned it.
I ran an X2 on an original Hightower.
Worked well. Also had a CC DB Air on there for a short while, the X2 was a lot nicer and trouble free.
A lot of people rate them on the original high towers.
I had the DPS evol and switched it to DVO topaz. I’m normally so tuned into my bike that I cannot feel small tweaks but the shock change was night and day difference even too me.
