Changed the suspension oil on my F29 RLCs last night

Is there an easier way of getting the oil in the damper side? - the damper rod doesn't come up far enough to allow the oil to be easily squirted it and it must have taken a good 5 mins to get the full 30cc in
Is there any reason why I can't install the damper rod, flip the forks over and fill the stanchions from the bottom before putting the lowers back on?

lowers on, damper top cap done up loosely, fill spring side, from bottom, do both lower nuts up, turn fork back over, undo damper top cap and fill. 😀

I used a syringe, the gap at the side of the damper is only around 2mm and it doesn't work it's way through very quickly

Compress/ extend the forks as necessary, let the air out or hold valve open when moving forks and then release to hold in place, make them do the work 😉
