My fox forks, 120mm 32 CTD have developed a slight knock on the left leg, feels the same as a loose headset when riding or rocking the front end with the brake on.
Assuming that the bushings are worn, is this a common problem on these? reading up on them they use the oil internally to take up the tolerances on the bushes.
Is it worth me giving them a service and fresh oil myself? or should i just bite the bullet and get the bushings changed at the same time?

Could just need adjusting, you will only know when you take the lowers off. Check yourself and if they look really worn then they will need replacing. Being as lose as you say its possible you may have stanchion wear below the seals.
