**** no. Have you looked at the videos on the Fox site? Cost of the tools alone made it borderline for me, let alone the scope for cock up. Mine went to TF, and got them to tune at the same time, and they came back transformed. Money well spent imho.
I changed the seals and fluid last year, it was on a fox rhythm though. It was relatively easy, but I wouldn't go any further than seal replacement.
Piece of cake on my Float 32s but they are by now vintage from 2013
Oil change, air spring service, wipers and seals - yes dead easy on 36's. Only tool to buy was a big socket to remove the top caps.
I'd not service the damper though - I'd sooner drop it out and send to someone who has the tools.
Lower services are easy enough. Anything more than that and Fox would rather you didn't...
I'm the main reason why I prefer RS now.
Yes, apologies - to quantify my comment - lowers service, air side, all dead easy. Damper service, nononononononononononono. No. Nononooooo.
