Hi !! I've just put some air into my RP23 shock and when removing the pump from the shock by unscrewing the valve all the air escapes from the shock. I've put air into it in the past and never had this problem. Has anybody any ideas what might be making all the air escape please ? Many thanks !!

Valves probably defunked hence air escaping try loco or TF for a new valve stem perhaps

all the air? a leaky valve stem. Replace from a schraeder tube using needle nosed pliers

if its not just air escaping from the pump and you are atually losing the air from shock, try a new valve core. You can just remove one from a shraeder tube.

Or maybe yours had just come loose and needs nipped up.

Many many thanks everyone for the help !! I've got a valve stem remover so I'll give that a go removing the one from the shock and replace it with one from an inner tube. The air is definately coming from the shock and not the pump.
