Planning on a new set of forks for my hardtail. Tend to use this for fast singletrack and the odd race.
Currently run a pair of Fox Float RLC 100, which I've had for about 4 years and have been great.
I was planning to get another pair of these, but seeing the price (>£500) compared to the price you seem to be able to pick SID's up for (<£400), I'm wondering should I go with the SID's instead?
thoughts/experience appreciated
I've got some Fox RL100 on an Orbea Alma and some SIDs which were to be used on it as they're lighter. Unfortunately the SIDs came up shorter and I didn't like it, so the RL 100sare on for good.
Lot's of people talk about the flex, which does exist, but it never bothered me.
Maybe it was something I was doing wrong, but the SIDs were to short for me so check the length. 😀
