Have the above shock using a 5 piece flanged bushing kit on a V3 Meta AM. Commencal suggest the bolts should be done up to 9 Nm which is fine, but the shock does not exactly move freely when installed one eyelet end bolt at a time. Is this stiffness normal as the range of movement is limited anyway? Pretty sure the eyelet bushings themselves are fine.

I wondered the same thing when installing a fox drcv shock on my trek fuel. 9nm and it seemed very tight and wouldn't rotate easily. My local suspension expert told me it was normal.
