On my Bottlerocket I already run Lyrics which I'm happy with but. I now have a set of 36 van r's which I'm tempted to put on. The question is does anyone have any thoughts or experience with running 36's on a Bottlerocket? Just for my piece of mind before I buy appropriate bits to convert 1 1/8 to 1.5.

Thanks in advance

Ash

Don't have any experience with Bottle rockets, but I've just gone from coil lyriks to van r's on my pitch. The lyriks were great forks and I only changed them as the csu was creaking. They have been replaced with 2011 van r's and I'm pretty happy with the new fork. It seems to stand up higher in the travel which I appreciate as my riding is more down than up. Both great forks, but no u-turn on the fox, which I may miss. Can't go wrong with either though.

One thing that surprised me though, I'm running the standard spring in the fox, even though I'm 14.5 stone kitted up! A lighter rider would definitely need to change springs (I ran a firm in my lyriks.)

Ano wore off my coil lyriks despite servicing, and my 36 vans feel nicer. Would be ace if you could get 36 van with travel adjust, mostly so i could find a perfect length and never adjust again.
