Fox 36 kabolt to QR

In inbetween vehicles and got a temporary car without a towbar (or chance of getting one) so i'm currently taking the front wheel off to get the bike in.

My fox 36 have a bolt through axel with a 2nd pinch bolt which is a bit of a faff.

I see you can buy a QR axel and a hardware kit that is basically a internal sleve and a different washer for the pinch bolt to hold it in.

I assume that once the sleve is in and the pinch bolt is done up the axel comes out independantly?

ie you don't need to undo the pinch bold every time you remove the axel? otherwise i'll not bother.
