Im looking at the top topend ones, factory, hsc lsc etc
They come with a 15mm axle but I though they were all convertible to a 20mm thru axle?
However the vendor says not & that its a fixed 15mm axle. Is he confused or are some models not convertible?
I really dont want to drop to a 15mm axle if possible.
Seems all you'll find new at the minute is 15mm. If you are lucky possibly non boost.
20mm won't be a standard again for another 15 years or so.
I think boost only comes with 15mm, while the standard/old spacing is convertible between 15 and 20. There is a 20mm boost axle standard, but it isn't on the 36's yet, maybe next year.
They just can't help taking the piss with 20mm can they?
I've got a 2018 20mm 36 on my Geometron. 😉
Started of as a 2017 20mm 36 then got warrantied after a creaky CSU issue and it's now got the new style 2018 airspring and CSU.
I know it's no help to you but it is possible to get what you are after.
