Absolutely no experience of Fox forks at all. This one appears on a bike that I quite like and seems to be OK but I hear whispers that it's a FAIL waiting to happen. What should I know?

There is a recall on Open Bath 32 & 34 forks from 2013. The code on the fork will tell you if it's one of the affected ones. There is a recall on the fork which fox has advertised.

If it's not a 2013 fork then it's not a problem.
There was some unhappyness with the 2013 CTD damper units from people but the 2014 is different.
