Has anyone got lights from [url= http://www.four4th.co.uk/index.html ]these guys[/url]? They look like a very good value, well built bar light.
I run one as a helemt light, which is my only light. I think it's brilliant and at the price they are quite a bargain.
I borrowed a friends and that swung it for me - even if there are better lights out there I knew from the test ride that these were excellent. Only comparison I can do is with a Hope Vision 4 and the Four4th was markedly better.

ish ... they do a set for the local bike shops that have XPG leds in and call them XPG lights (which I have), other than that I believe they are identical.
I've had mine for about 8 months and they have been very good, battery is fine although secured with two velcro straps (supplied) which feels a bit Heath Robinson but in practice works perfectly so if maybe the best option anyway.
I use mine as bar lights, they give plenty of light and are great in woodland ... the only downside is the "throw" they do not seem to light a long way down firetracks ... I believe that the XPE leds esp with narrow lens is better for this.
I also use a joystick helmet light for general riding the two lights work brilliantly
PS 2nd for the nice guys to deal with, very helpful on the phone
They're based near us and a lot of local rides use them. They look fine, they work, but they're no better or worse than anyone else sticking commercially available LEDs into a unit they've made themselves and wiring it up to a battery thy've bought from somewhere else.
Mine are over a year now with no problems, and I have heard of no problems from the other 10 or so of us who have them (Group buys for even bigger discounts).
I got the Friday afternoon set but they sorted me out really quickly hence I can vouch for the nice guys bit 🙄
PP is right enough that they are not rocket science - the charger is more than just a bit Heath Robinson, but it all works and is better than I could knock up. Perhaps the on/off switch on the helmet is the low point - but it's easy enough to find and the battery seems to last ages so I hardly ever bother to low beam it (except in snow when the main beam was too bright).

PP, they just seem to tick all the right boxes regarding power / burn times / cost. I've looked through all the available options and I can't find anything else that does what I need it to for less than £200. If anyone has other suggestions, I'd be glad to hear about them.
