Hi,
I've got a set of Formula RX brakes on my new cube bike. Out of the box the pad's appear to be rubbing slightly on the rotors. This appears to be happening at both ends so i'm wondering if it's actually normal or not? I've tried the unscrew/pull lever/rescrew trick and it didn't do much.
Cheers
Andy
take the caliper off, put a flat head screw driver between the pads and prize them gently apart, force is needed but not masses. Then bolt it back on and set the caliper in the right position visually, making sure there is an even gap between the rotor and pad on both sides

Cheers spock - how do you do the above though? gently press the brake lever?
Seems you might need to reset calipers. Take pads out, with flat screwdriver push them apart as far as you can, don't use too excesive force though. On your brake levers, unscrew all the way allen bolts (aka bite adjustment) ... install wheel back, pump brakes 10 or so times to finally get bite adjustment back, if needed screw allen bolts inn* for preffered bite adjustment.
You may need to readjust those bolts holding calipers ... unscrew those bolts loose, rotate wheel, press brakes and hold them, then tighten up those bolts -job done.
be careful pushing pistons back in with screwdriver put some thin cardboard or similar inbetween the piston and the s/driver so not to damage the piston face as they are quite soft seemingly.
Tried for ages to get the pistons pushed it but they didnt go back very far. It's like the pads are too thick! i've managed to get it so they are only rubbing now and again - i'm hoping after a bit of wear the prob will go away ๐
Cheers for the help
