Right, my brake's been a bit buggered for a while, firstly i had it bled and it was alright at first but then somehow the pads got contaminated, and after a while the lever seems to have got spongier and needs to be pulled in further. I've tried cleaning the pads with muc off etc and it works for a bit but then the pads get contaminated again somehow. My thoughts are that fluid is leaking onto the pads, but has anyone else got any ideas, and what do you reckon i need to do to fix it?

You'll need to clean the pads with something stronger than muc off - try methylated spirit or pure ethanol - neither leave any residue. also with some sand paper gently scrub the pads to get rid of the surface layer. do the same for the rotor too and see if the problem remains.
if so, then try bleeding the brake again with the super clean rotor and pads. if they still go spongey you've got a leak.

Forgot to mention, i've cleaned and sanded the pads and rotor in every way possible which as i said works at first but overnight they seem to get contaminated. I can't see why it would go spongey like this unless it had lost fluid which brought me to my conclusion, seems like i do have a leak then but what can i do about it?

Replace the seals, clean up the disc and fit new pads. Also take the opportunity to clean up the pistons as well
