[#3741045]

Got a BFe which I want to rebuild up for riding DJs and BMX tracks - looking for some forks around 100-120mm. Was previously using some FoX 36's wound down to 100mm and they were nice but I've had to swap them onto my other bike.

Doesn't have to be brand new but welcome any suggestions from you lot. Not looking to spend a fortune.

2nd hand pikes. Can't beat them for a cheap tough fork.

if you are only doing bmx and pump tracks then rigids are he way to go.

other than that anything firmly sprung with rebound damping. you dont really want then to squidge much when pumping.

society forks are cheap. marz dirtjumpers? although the pike suggestion is probably a winner for versatiliy.

Argyles are good - firm but with a bit of give when you need it. Certainly much more comfortable than the rigid forks they replaced.

I'd say you're best off with Marzocchi Dirt jumpers, they are solid and simple. The best bit about them is you can add air to each leg to make them really hard. Pikes are fairly soft (although saying that, the air ones might work? But I think they only come in 140mm travel versions)

My u-turn Pike dual air 454s go down to 110mm. Great DJ fork and can be used for other things as well if you adjust the pressures. You can get them pretty solid if you have high +ve and low -ve pressures.

Good few options there. many thanks. Hopefully will get a bit of a bonus to start building it up again

Think a pair of pikes may be scouted out.
