Just looking for a bit of advice.
I have a set of 2009 Magura Durin Race forks which have developed an alarming cluck when they reach the end of the rebound. I tried turning the rebound adjustment knob to slow it down but this didn't help. I have now completely stripped and rebuilt the forks, same weight oil as usual (10wt, I'm only 10st2) but they still top out really heavily. The feel fine when compressing though.
Only differences from standard are Enduro seals and the oil is Silkolene (which I've always used)
What can I do to make them rebound better?
Thanks in advance.
In Pace forks they would say need to be 'primed'.
You need to compress them as much as possible a few times.
Some sort of lock down like ETA on 'Zocchis is good. Not sure on Magura specs so I leave that bit to you.
My RC41s do it if I have stripped them and/or had them left for a length of time.
Similar thing happened to my psylos xc's when I stripped them last year.
Ramble over. Hope this helps ๐
Cheers Marky, but I've found the problem.
When servicing them I had put the plastic spacer and the top-out bumpers in the wrong way up (bumper goes at the bottom for anyone else who's interested)
