Being a tight git I was wondering how hard it would be to service my rockshox recon forks rather than paying to have them done.
Does it just take time or is it a pig of a job?

iv never done a pair of recons but generally a standard lower service is much easier than most realise.

A complete service on Recons will be dead easy. Have a look on the Sram website for the tech manuals

As above. Recon's have quite a basic damper in them. Very straight forward to do.

As said SRAM website and some common sense, there is a knack to certain parts.

Just don't be a hamfisted impatient goon forcing things and stripping threads! Forks have delicate aluminium fixings that can't stand gorilla amounts of torque.
