Because 1.99 each washer is slightly over the top. Anyone found another source of these?

Are they even necessary each time? I sure I've seen some of the service videos saying they only need to be replaced if they are damaged.

I have yet to have actually ever use a set of crush washers on a forum beyond the ones that they originally came on the fork. Thread them off, thread them back on again. The oldest I currently have are nearly three years old and the forks have had their semi bath done 9 times.
