What is boost?

Wider axle standard, wider hubs and spoke flange spacing. Don't know the sizes.

Intended to be a stronger wheel build for the now larger diameter rims.

It's a frame and hub standard. They need to match. Do you have a Boost frame?

Sonder sure says it's Boost 148( the most common option) so your rear wheel will need to be a Boost hub with a 12mm axle.
