Thanks to all those who made suggestions about interesting or exotic shops to drool in while visiting the capital. In the end I only managed to visit Cycle Surgery which was good. What impressed me most was the range of clothing. In my various LBS they rarely have more than one or two makes and then very limited sizes. I wanted some new baggies and had the choice of 7 or 8 makes and styles in my size. At home all they usually have is XS in Endura or Altura. Obviously a shop in London has more potential punters but there are a lot more shops. Anyway I came away with some Mavics so I will cut a dash locally for a while as they are unavailable except for internet seekers.
which store did you go to? We've got lots of varied clothing in this season i will say!
Gt Portland Street, not a big shop but plenty of interesting stuff.
