dunno about the steak, but I had a nice pub curry in the fountain inn in parkend.

bikes were fine in the carpark (tucked around the back of the pub).

we stayed in their bunkhouse, which was very good too ๐Ÿ™‚

All the above serve good food and are in or close to the good riding spots (can't vouch for security of cars left outside though). Saracens Head owner is a MTBer and White Horse is bike friendly. Fountain Inn metioned by alfabus is good too and bike friendly (HQ of local Cycling Club). Cross Keys is handy for anyone coming in or going out via the M5/A40 route.

Agree with Pete. Saracens Head, White Horse also the New Inn at Shortstanding which is just down the road from Christchurch crossroads half mile past church. Very good food at a good price.
