Hi,
My Fluxient (4 x R5 1600 lumen) light gave up on me last night after about 10 years good service. I have had a look at it this morning and can see the plastic mount, (screwed to the casing) has cracked and broken up, allowing a bit of movement – this has then worn through the cable casing over time until it has finally started shorting out. On top of this, the connector plug is also a bit worn out, so cuts out sometimes if knocked.

The LED’s are still nice and bright and the batteries last well, so if I can repair it I would like to.

Does anyone know where I can get a replacement mount- it’s just an O-ring type – are these quite generic? Same for the cable – looks like a generic jack – but any idea what size so I don’t have to change the charger of battery end? Otherwise, it’s Araldite and insulation tape time!

Thanks in advance…

Torchy sold them in the past so you could try him. I've a set but waiting on a replacement charger to arrive from Asia before I know if they are still any good.

Thanks for the suggestion – my set was actually from Torchy – I had checked the spares part of his site but nothing listed – I didn’t want to hassle him for support on such an old light – but he was always very helpful in the past so perhaps I’ll drop him an email.
