Can anyone recommend a reasonably priced floor stand to hold my bike securely whilst cleaning it? Sick of leaning it against the fence or trying to wedge wheel between chairs! Cheers

Not sure it will fit on my bike. I have an FSA Alpha Drive crank set 🙄

I've just bought a Topeak Ride-Up Stand. You can't take your wheels off like you can with the 'Andystand' but it does fold flat.

What about one of these - nice and simple. Bolt it to said fence (the fence post obviously).

Bit more than I was budgeting for Burls72 but looks nice. I've emailed Andystand to check compatibility as that looks spot on. Bikes a Boardman Comp if anyone happens to know if they fit.

Checked with Andy and the andystand is not compatible. Anyone got a Revolution Tune up stand that can give some feedback on quality etc? They look good value for £50.

Revolution Tune up

i have a very similar one which i would imagine is rebranded by several people.

the only opinion i could give is "avoid like the plague"

other people love them.

I have a revolution stand, been pleased wiut

Its about 2 and a half years old and the plastic parts are a bit worn so it rattles about a bit when doing repairs so I just use it for cleaning bike on now,

But for the money its hard to beat,

Will think about the Rev stand some more. Gutted the andystand doesn't fit as that was exactly what I was after. Something simple that held the bike for washing / basic maintenance which was also compact and not too expensive. C'mon Andy design a universally fitting stand 😀

There is also this:

The Minoura looks good - I have a Topeak version - not as robust as the Topeak one linked to above - but it is useful for washing, etc

If you have a tree branch or convenient hanging basket bracket then a bit of rope looped round the saddle works.

I've got a rebranded version of the Rev stand and it's excellent. Had it for years, still going strong, highly recommended.
