Might be getting sent to work in Flimby, Cumbria from the 5th October - 16th October.
Is there any riding up that way worth checking out? Im guessing with the Lakes next door there is plenty of XC, but is the much in the way of DH / 4x tracks?
And anyone to show me round (prob weekend of the 10-11th) 🙂
There's some DH stuff at Settmurthy near Cockermouth - not been though.
Think theres some sort of 4x course built/being built in sedbergh, its at a mountain boarding spot. That will be well over an hours drive from where your at though.
Theres also a little bmx track thing at Seascale (just next to Sellafield)
I havent been yet but it looks like it might be quite good fun (tarmaced berms etc)
Then theres Settmurthy as said, and Scratchmere Scar. Whinlatter is just outside of keswick too
