It should a simple one ..... Perhaps I'm missing something obvious.

Im after some flat pedals for a touring(?), shopping(?), just popping out duties where I don't want to be using my clip less shoes.

Ive looked at traditional touring pedals but they look like they work best with toe clips. I could get some dual sided spuds and flats. I don't want or need specific shin shredding flats ..... I have some already and it's over kill.

Ive even considered using the spd clip in flat sections!

Open to suggestions and recommendations.

I’ve always used DMR V8’s, they aren’t too big and have a decent amount of grip.

EDIT - just found out they redesigned them last year and now they are bigger. No idea when they keep making pedals bigger, I have always used V8’s as they last forever and seem the perfect size for my size 10 feet.

Just get some plastic flats like dmr v6's. Or some wellgo v8 copies.

Wellgo kc001 wpuld fit the bill nicely. Wee bit dainty but no shame in that.

I use V6s on my road bike, and some cheapo Nano-a-likes from Amazon on my pub bike.

I’ve got these, admittedly not at this price, and they’re great:

DMR V6. Got them on my jump bike then put them on my pub bike then put them on the girlfriends bike. Ideal cheap pedals.
