Flat Mount Discs with Flat Handlebars

I'm looking at the Enigma Explor as a possible new commuter. It's got flat mount discs with flat handlebars. I'll most likely be using Shimano discs.

Am I correct in thinking that I'll need to cobble together a road or gravel caliper with an mtb brake lever? Or is there a set out there that covers this out the box? I'm guessing it's pretty niche.

Lots of XC brakes some with flat mount options, although they tend to be at the more expensive, lightweight end of the market

Formula Cura is one less pricy option

Shimano UR300 are flatmount calipers with MT200 flat bar levers, around £15 an end too as they're fairly low-end. I've fitted them to my Vitus commuter and they're alright.

£15 an end at ribble. or you can run post mount brakes with an adaptor - that's what I'm doing on my Cotic Cascade as it also allows me to run 180mm discs

Although if you are thinking enigma, then some Hope Tech 3 X2 Flatmount will be a bit more blingy

I’ve got the UR300 and mt200 on a On One FreeRanger flat bar I built up and also come as standard on my Cannondale Neo quick flat bar  e-bike. They work really well, a good reliable set up. Get some Gorilla semi pads and they won’t squeal either!!

Thanks all. I'll have a look at the adapters but looks like I'll cobble something together.

While it's a fancy frame I'm building it for commuting so I'm looking at durable and rust resistance over expensive bling bits. Or at least inexpensive and easy to replace.
