My other half has a Brompton she rearely uses so I would like to start riding it to work when I am in clinics where I can't leave my road bike. The only problem is it currently doesn't have any mudguards fitted. I see Evans have a variety of mudguards and fittings for Bromptons but could someone let me know exactly what I need to fit them?
Are there any other alternatives to look at? Id rather they stay put on the bike when folded so I don't have to keep removing and re-fitting.

You can get a kit of everything you need - mudguard blades and stays. The only choice to make really is whether you have a rear carrier - the back mudguard is different if you do.

Assuming you don't, then you want L-type mudguards front and rear.

Perfect! Any links to the kit? It doesn't have a rack so L type guards it is 😀

Any Brompton dealer can supply the parts. The rear of mine used to need regular replacement because the fold puts weight on the rear guard, which cracks and admits water then looks gash. Always wanted black mudguards but could never source one.

Brilliant Bikes are great guys, but they seem to be out of stock - they should be able to get in pretty quickly though. What you want is:

Odd - just checked Evans and they say they're discontinued. Maybe worth trying SJSC.

Looks like most places are sold out or unavailable for the complete sets, so looks like I'll have to get front and rear bits separately.
