Can anyone help me?
I have a cannondale headshok road frame, from their road warrior brange 10 years ago- that i am building up.
It has studs for cantis or V brakes, as I wanted to use road STIs, i have been told frogglegs or similar would be best.
I would need to have a guide if I was to use cantis, on cross bikes I have seen them as part of the spacer stack.
Do they make ones for headshok (1.5 inch ) steerers?
Or would I be best with mini v brakes like dia compe?

you could use a conventional v-brake with a qbp travel agent

Do these work well?
I dont have any v brakes so would need to buy anyway.
Would these improve mini v brakes aswell, to remove any spongy feel?

I'd class them as not perfect but useable, and probably a lot easier than finding a cable guide to fit a headshock!

I've never tried them with mini-v's so can't comment...

For canti's I think you have to use a hanger that fits in the arch of the fork, at the bottom of the steerer where you would have a reflector fitted. If you had a cable stop above this point then the exposed cable would slacken and tighten with the headshok movement.

like this...

*edit, sorry for pic but no link, couldn't find one for sale, just google images!

Thanks Mike- good point- yes it would have to fit the fork, it does have a mount for a reflector.
