[Closed] Fitting a Shimano HT2 bottom bracket to a Specialized Camber: how many spacers?

I've just bought a new Shimano HT2 chainset because it worked out cheaper than buying replacement chainrings for my worn-out Octalink chainset but this of course means that I need to change the bottom bracket to an external one.

The BB shell width on my 2012 Specialized Camber (26er) is 73mm and the Shimano tech document advises to use a 2.5mm spacer on the drive side when using band type front derallieurs and no spacers when using a bracket type / E-type one.

The thing that has me a little stumped though, is that the Camber frame uses an E-type FD with the bracket attachment removed, with the FD then being mounted directly to the frame so I'm not sure if I need to use the suggested 1 spacer or no spacers at all.

Does anyone run a similar setup who could advise how many spacers I should use?

use one spacer.

the BB mounted mech would have acted as a spacer.
