Solid brass, its a tight fit but on compression with the bolts tightened theres a loud dry creaking sound. Loosen slightly and theres no noise. Obviously I cant use them untightened but....should I pack them out with grease?

I didnt with the previous alu ones but these being brass means they need to be?

are you tightening with a torque wrench or just 'hanging' on the end of an Allen key?

I didn't grease anything - will do ๐Ÿ˜›

I'm hanging off the end of a long-handled allen key. So it doesn't need to be tight-tight then?

what do the instructions say?

if there's a picture of a bloke hanging off the end of a scaffold pole that's got an allen key welded to it in the instructions then carry on as you are ๐Ÿ˜‰

My brass ones didnt creak when I had a test fitting, but one was a little bit loose, couldnt feel it on bike just when press fitting.

Both are a tight press-fit. Will grease and back off the usual over-torque first. ta guys.
