One less now though fella! ๐Ÿ˜€

You think MTBers are bad, you should roll out with some road clubs. The amount of "larger" chaps/chapettes on uber lightweight carbon machines is unreal. Plus they don't wear baggies! ๐Ÿ˜ฏ

I enjoyed mountain biking at 16 stone but it's so much better at 14 stone

Well put, I agree.

Though for some people being 10 stone instead of 20 will mean they enjoy there riding more. As beerbelly pointed out.

Try riding Mont Ventoux with a 20Kg rucksack. Then do it again (after a couple of days rest and/or a dose of EPO) without and tell me which was more fun ๐Ÿ˜‰

Yeah i know exactly how you felt Neil, getting to the top of a climb, blowing out ya ar$e then trying to get your breath back on the descent and not concentrating on the trail!

Might see ya fridee??

Beerbelly

Well done and I know exactly how you feel. I've been 16 1/2 stone, got back down to 14 and I've now over the past 3 years have crept back up to 16 stone again due to pure lazyness.

It's definitely a lot more fun at 14 stones, up and down and I intend to get back there sharpish ! IIRC it took me 6 weeks to lose about 30lbs last time simply by cutting out crisps/sweets/chocolate and getting out on the bike 3 times a week, even if it was just for a 1/2 hour.

Did you do anything in particular to lose your weight ?

Jeez, I don't eat crap between meals and rarely eat large portions (or drink), and I'm still unable to drop the pounds! I can't wait to get back to 14 stone!

The thought of never eating another meal again is fairly grim though sfb, fully appreciate the benefits of browsing though.

it's not that I don't, but I usually only have a proper meal in company - on my own I just grab food in passing while doing something else
