Looking to get out and ride in the winter during the week so will be night rides. Been looking at the frankly baffling array of lights.

I want LED, doesn't have to be really long run times as my rides are 1-2hrs only. Needs to be reliable and built well or at least to last.

A few have caught my eye....

1. Four4th Lights Genesis bar mounted £195

2. Hope Vision R4 £205

3. Trout Dominator (cutie) £300 (pushing my budget hard)

4. Magicshine 872 £89

5. Bikeray 3 £90

I am obviously budget orientated but is cheaper really the way to go?. Always worked on the "you get what you pay for" way of doing things, but nowadays do you really actually get that?

Any users of the above lights opinions please?

Used only on local XC trails in woods.

2 of these mounted on the bars (or 1 on your lid) for £60 will give you all the lighting you could ever want...until a new LED comes out 😉

The battery packs aren't fully waterproof though so you will need to wrap them in electrical/duct tape and squirt some silicone sealant where the wire comes out the pack.
