Looking for a route or grren lanes, ideally mid Wales that are more traditional "rough stuff" riding than mountain bike stuff. I know a few grren lanes north of Rhayader ie bits of Offas Dyke but can any one suggest any thing. Looking for going that would suit cyclo cross bikes especially. Spome nice quiet tarmac as well to join the lanes up

Good crossbike territory is on the Cefn Groes windfarm roads linking Devils Bridge, Cwmystwyth and Llangurig/Upper Wye. Also cutting north from Pontrhydgaled into Hafren forest. There are too many variants to suggest specific routes.
