Yes it's just a boggo 456 evo II but I have been without a bike since September, I don't like the forks but they are all I have (other than rigid) they will be replaced later but in the meantime I can actually ride again. My wife bought me the frame although I really didn't deserve it and I'm as happy as a pig in ****.

Nice one...the beauty is you can build it over time but still have something to ride at all times. I'd be mental without a bike. Its my only stress relief.

Only thing that needs fixing in that photo is the fact that the bike looks un-ridden ๐Ÿ™‚

Going out for the shakedown ride very shortly. I'm like a kid at Christmas.

Table and chairs need a repaint.

Tell me about it, I'm not allowed to though as they were her granddads and she wants them as they were.

Path's a bit weedy and you could do with something to fill the bare soil behind the table. Looks dry and shady so maybe Dryopteris filix-mas?

Ahhh, sweet! ๐Ÿ˜‰

Then again, give it a couple of weeks and the bike will have a matching patina!

Paths getting done tomorrow, the bare patch is intentional, we are in the process of moving all our plants and the garden is 90ft so there's lots of them

Then again, give it a couple of weeks and the bike will have a matching patina!

I'm hoping it will be similar to a wok ๐Ÿ˜‰

Are they 120mm forks? I'm tempted by a 456 frame but I've only got some Recons to put on it. Does it ride well?

I haven't dropped the lowers yet to adjust to 120 so are currently set at 100. It rides brilliantly but I'm very aware of having short travel up front. (My old bike had 140 up front) I'm still grinning though so it definitely rides well.

Ferk the garden, ride out!!

You make a very valid point!

Are those the lethal pebbles that there have been several threads about? ๐Ÿ˜‰

And it needs a dropper! ๐Ÿ˜€

Thanks, it turns out I missed a house viewing yesterday as I was out on my bike! It also looks like I'm going to miss some today for the same reason ๐Ÿ˜‰
JoeG I hate those pebbles no garden should have pebbles as a main feature, I can hardly walk on the bloody things let alone ride them.

New forks before dropper, then new saddle.

Odd number of pebbles; I think.

Otherwise, all good.

Standards are clearly slipping, although close the tyre and rim logos are not centred and it's really bugging me!

Just got back from my first proper ride OMFG I love this bike, grinning from ear to ear with every turn of the pedals. I probably looked like a loon, I don't care.
If anyone is on a budget then I really can't imagine you would get a better riding frame for the money (IMHO of course)
I definitely need a different saddle as my arse is in tatters.

Going to do the gardening in double quick time and get back out on it. MTB'ing is the finest anti depressant in the world.

Table and chairs need a repaint.

Chabby chic, leave them alone it adds value.

Has no one seen the pointing on that walled bed.

Somewhere a baby robin is weeping

Nice bike by the way although tyre logos a bit squiffy
