Heading to finale in June biking,I've been before and hired a car at Genoa.This time there's only me riding out of 4 people.Ill have my bike in a bike box and was wondering if I could get a bus from airport to train station then train to finale with my bike in a cardboard bike box.
Main concern is if I'm allowed to put box on bus and train.If all that isn't possible I'll have talk others into putting some money towards a hire car.
Any info much appreciated
There's a train station at genoa Airport so you shouldn't need to use a bus at all
Does the train go easily to Finale from there? The italians have a size limit for luggage on the train so you will need to book/pay for extra for that. It's fairly straight forward to do the train from Nice if you get a taxi to the station from the airport though you do have to change trains at the border
