Hi
My daughter has just deleted all her teaching files from a usb stick, about 1gb worth
She has not backed them up........I know
Is there any software that may be able to recover
I've got some but they want £16 , which I don't mind paying , but want to be sure it will work before paying
Thanks
Try Recuva - do not use the stick for anything, don't add or remove any more files. Just plug in and run the software.
https://www.piriform.com/recuva
to add to the above.
I'd get another new, memory stick, put a load of files on it, delete them and then try the above recovery tools.
If you're successful try the actual stick with the lost data, if not you've caused no further damage.
If they're *really* important get someone who's done it before to do the job.
Oh, and then start using Dropbox.
+1 on Recuva for general file/document recovery.
Recuva downloaded, hot footing it to my daughters to try and save the day.
All her lesson plans are on it, a very teary telephone conversation was had!
Told her about backups and Dropbox, she will be doing it from now on
success?
Cheers for help, got about 200 back, some important stuff, lost about 200
I'm the best dad ever now'
