So many choices so little knowledge!
I'm looking at the Felts as my first choice as I really like the look of 'em, I just can't make my mind up whether the carbon frame is worth the extra coin! Heart says hell yeah, head says no no!
All the while this inner turmoil is occurring I'm also considering the Focus Cayo as a viable full carbon alternative as well as eyeing up the Specialized, I like the Spec, I already have a Langster that I love, they look to me to be the same frame ish??
All bikes listed have pretty much the same spec for the same ish money, F5 would be pushing it a bit budget wise but is she worth it!

Any input to help me along, silly or serious!
All that bad huh?
Allez has a very long head tube for an upright sportive style which may or may not suit you. Carbon depends on whether its objectively a better frame rather than just the ooh factor. Ive just done some similar shopping for a 1000 quid C2W bike, and have ended up choosing the orbea aqua 105. Full 105 not a downgraded chainset, nice frame (in choice if colors which is rare) and seems to even beat the boardman for value whilst looking like an even nicer bike.
edit; followed the links and seen the cayo and spec have 105 chainsets too, most £1000 bikes have downgraded to FSA.
If youre buying from wiggle use a cashback site to get money back (2% on bikes, 4% on parts, also go thru them for CRC and merlin for same sort of cashback). Oh and unsubscribe and resubcribe to wiggle newsletter to get a £5 voucher, it all adds up!
Felt F5 got a great review in Cycling Plus a few months ago. I think the frame is sub 1kg so with some upgrades over time you'd be looking at a superlight race bike.
I have the cayo and I love it. It gets the power down as it's really stiff. I have ridden 600+ miles in a week on it with no dramas. It's v comfy. I changed the wheels to model bs though as the oem ones are ok but heavy.
I've only ridden the cayo but it was bloody lovely. Felt like a rocket.
I bought an old F65 frame, it's light as **** (1350gm) and really comfy.
Thanks for the replies, the allure of carbon is strong. The F5 def sounds like the better frame compared to the Focus after reading a few reviews. That damn Focus is stuck in there at the mid price point messing with my head tho! If only I'd pulled the trigger when the tour discount was on at Wiggle! Was always told to go for the best frame....
