Always looking for a the next bike for the kids to grow into and I picked up a 2018 Felt compulsion 1 frame with a known issue that the equilink was worn.
The frame is in great shape.. one small crack that I'll probably repair but aside from the equilink its been well looked after.
I picked up a new equilink for the frame along with new igus bushings and will do a full seat of bearings, but what's going to be the secret to preventing the igus bushing from chewing through the new equilink?
All my other bikes have igus bushes somewhere and they've normally lasted extremely well with zero wear to the pivot hardware, so this ones a bit unusual to me.

There's a not insignificant 0.6mm reduction in shaft diameter from the wear.
I've seen a couple of other used compulsions with replaced equilinks so its evidently not an isolated issue.
