Any good? Looking at the full suspension ones. Work may be doing the bike to work scheme.

if you're looking at the virtue then i'd recomend a boardman pro, very decent spec for £1200 never mind £600ish!

I suspect you have seen the massive price reductions on the Felt Compulsion series... Comp 2 down from £2000 to £1099!!

I have been wondering about them too... no reviews on Bike Radar, but the individual components have to be worth more than £1099 on their own.

Well I'd recommend you buy mine if you are looking at a virtue 🙂
Medium 07 model Virtue One frame with XTR front mech, Fox RP23 and FSA carbon pro seatpost - £400

Whatever you do I'd ignore the hype about the equilink thingy being the best solution to suspension issues - it does work well (as do many other designs) and those bikes climb incredibly well, but (in my experience) are only ok for descents.
I've done the Dyfi Enduro on mine twice and it's a great bike for that kind of riding, but I'm more focussed on flying down mountains and prefer something a lot heavier.

I have a 2008 felt compulsion and to be honest I think its bloody fantastic! Climbs well, goes down hill well and handles reasonably big drops/jumps with ease. Plus there arent many around which is nice

I run a Compulsion over in the alps for DH enduro stuff...Love it. Extremely well made, very efficient AND playful. Super stiff rear end.

Just solid

I liked my 2008 Compulsion - although it was a bit steep and perched - but had to give up on it due to ongoing problems with the needle bearings in the equilink. Rear suspension works great when it works, but is a bit of a maintenance b**ch.
I think they might have made them a little slacker, too, since the 2008 models.

Good heads up that acorlett, thanks! What problems did you have with the bearings?
