I've got a feedback sports workstand, the 'Classic' I think, which has a clamp that you are meant to just loosen slightly and then it will just pull out rather than having to unscrew it all the way. About half of the time that works well but that other half it jams and you have to unscrew it all the way to remove the bike. Not a huge problem in the great scheme of things but that often means you have to support the bike with one hand while doing it.
I've tried cleaning the sliding part so there is no grease and I've also tried both oiling it and using wax type lubes. Nothing really seems to fix it
Has anyone else had this problem and been able to fix it. I'm happy to take it all to bits and whack it with a big hammer, I'm just looking for a bit of guidance on which bit to whack if anyone else has been there before
