I've got fairly large hands and on a recent DH trip felt my current grips were a bit thin.
Can anyone recommend some lockon grips with a slightly thicker grip?

Cheers

Col

ODI Rogue's.
Always worked for me, currently have a set of Renthal's, but preferred the Rogue's, and will be switching back soon.

I bought ODI Longnecks in original BMX style and put them on with cheap, nasty hairspray and it's the best thing I've done in ages. My fingers really ache and get extremely painful when I ride DH all day and these made a massive difference. You can get lock-on versions if you want them.

Rogues are good- nice bit of squish to them. I know you asked about lockons but I've changed over to ESI Chunky now and they're ace too.

Specialized Enduro lockons come in size XL - fit my shovel like hands nice and comfortable.

Superstar do some big grips, they're longer too. About £9 if I recall correctly. I love them.

Edit
Superstar Excel grips

ESI Chunky grips would be worth a look.

Ergon offers most of their grips in a large size, but not the round GA1 version that would probably be best for DH.

Specialized Enduro lock on grips - they do a lovely chunky version which is great quality and not expensive. Currently ordering some from my LBS just to have some spare, I love them.

I really don't like the Superstar Excels. They remove all the 'feel' of the ride and don't lessen arm-pump ime.

Thanks again for all the help. Superstar are out of excel at the moment so I might give the chunkys a go.
Cheers
