Like most places Cannock is dry as a bone which means some of the off-piste has returned to its natural state - SAND!
The axle-deep mud has been replaced with quality powdered sandstone berms and troughs. And the fat bike goes through it like a boss. No discernable loss of speed and you can even corner on the stuff!
Get outta here! I'm gonna find me a beach!

Really? I rode my fat bike this morning and nearly came off on a flat corner, as the tyre failed to bite in the dust covered baked hard earth. It was a bit of a surprise as my commuter with 35mm slicks rides that corner fine.
